Honda UK Workers vote to save Jobs
Car sales are at a dramatic decline in the UK, there has been a 50% drop in production. Since then factories have been shutting down everywhere and the ones that haven't are going to be releasing a lot of workers or take a pay cut in salaries. The employees that work at Honda were given a choice to either take a 3% pay cut or 490 employees will be let go. The workers ended up taking the pay cut option, thus they will be saving their jobs. Management at the company will be taken a 5% pay cut also.
